These periodograms, building upon the concept of partial distance correlation, separate periodic radial velocity modulation induced by orbital motion stellar activity. tools can be used to explore large spectroscopic databases search targets which variations obscure motion; such systems include active planet-hosting stars or binary with an intrinsically variable component. provide a detailed prescription for calculating demonstrate their performance via simulations and real-life case studies, public Python implementation.
